Ayatollah Ali Khamenei made this appeal to the Iranian people

In the continuing conflict against Israel, Iran's supreme leader, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, has put a message on X to the Iranian people. Ayatollah Ali Khamenei wrote, "If the enemy realizes that you are afraid of them, they will not spare you." He went on: "Continue with the strength that you have displayed till date." Iran's Deputy Foreign Minister, Saeed Khatibzadeh, said that Iran was "on the verge of reaching an agreement" with the US to revive the nuclear accord. He did, however, assert that Israel launched assaults "to thwart the whole process." In retribution, Tehran canceled the negotiations last Sunday, warning that it will respond forcefully to Israeli assault. The Iranian leadership is again displaying unity and strength as war clouds loom over the region once more. As global powers keep a careful eye on the situation, the Middle East remains on edge, with diplomacy dangling by a thread and both countries ready for a larger escalation.
