CM Bhupendra Patel tweeted, "I am extremely pained by the crash of an Air India passenger plane in Ahmedabad. I have directed officials to conduct rapid rescue and relief operations in the accident, as well as make arrangements for the injured passengers to receive immediate care on a war footing." "I have also given instructions to arrange a green corridor to take the injured passengers for treatment and to ensure all arrangements for treatment in the hospital on priority basis." CM Bhupendra Patel wrote, "Union Home Minister Amit Shah has also spoken to me and assured full cooperation from the NDRF teams and the Central Government for rescue and relief operations in this plane crash."
