A senior police official in Bihar apologized and clarified his statement on farmers

Kundan Krishnan, Bihar's Additional Director General of Police (Headquarters), clarified his comment about the farmers, claiming that his statement was misconstrued.

He stated, "My statement does not imply that our country's farmer brothers and food producers are involved in any criminal activity. Farmers have always been and will continue to be deserving of our respect. My ancestors were all farmers. I have a great connection to my town and farming community."

"Every criminal incident is committed by criminals, regardless of caste or religion. I have a lot of respect for farmers, but if my statement upset anyone, I apologize. "I apologize for this."

Kundan Krishnan's video has recently gone viral on social media.

He was saying, "There have been a lot of murders recently. They happen throughout Bihar. For years, more killings have occurred throughout April, May, and June. This continues till the rains arrive. Because the majority of farmers have no work. Following the rains, the farming community becomes busy, and events occur."
