More than 50 Pakistani soldiers have been killed and 30 injured in the action taken in reaction to the Pakistani assault, according to Zabihullah Mujahid, spokesman for the Taliban administration in Afghanistan.
Zabihullah Mujahid claimed at a press conference in Kabul on Sunday that 20 Pakistani premises were taken during the "retaliatory action" but were given back once the battle was over.
Pakistan has not responded to Zabihullah Mujahid's claim. On Saturday evening, however, Home Minister Mohsin Naqvi asserted that Afghanistan's action had been met with an appropriate response.
Additionally, the official revealed that during the fighting, nine Taliban personnel were killed and over twenty were injured.
According to Zabihullah Mujahid, ISIS is still operating in the regions of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Balochistan, and its leader is in Pakistan.
ISIS is no longer present in Afghanistan, he said. Pakistan is home to ISIS training facilities, he claimed, and the world community needs to take notice.
He stated that there is nothing against any nation and that there should be no opposition to the Afghan Foreign Minister's visit to India.
