After winning the 2025 Indian Premier League, Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) paid Rs 25 lakh for each to the people who were killed in the stampede during the championship celebration.
When the crowd gathered in Bangalore's streets to celebrate RCB's victory on June 4, there was a stampede. This accident lost multiple lives and injured many more.
This information was provided by RCB through a statement posted on social networking site X.
RCB wrote: "Our hearts were broken on June 4, 2025. We lost eleven RCB family members. We had them. They contributed to our community and city, which set our team apart from the others. Our thoughts will always be affected by their absence.
"There is no way to fill the void left by their departure," RCB wrote. However, RCB has kindly gave Rs 25 lakh to each of their families as a beginning step and out of respect."
