Tejashwi Yadav, the Leader of the Opposition in the Bihar Assembly, has launched another charge against the Election Commission, claiming that during the particularly intensive revision of the voter list, an average of 25 thousand to 30 thousand votes were removed from one assembly.
He wrote a lengthy essay on X, alleging systematic manipulation in the Special Intensive Revision of Voter List procedure (SIR-2025).
He concluded: "Even after deleting the votes of 65 lakh voters, there is ambiguity in the new draft list."
Tejashwi Yadav has questioned the Election Commission's intentions in not providing a booth-by-booth list in the SIR draft roll.
He wrote, "Now, how will you determine who is dead and who has been transferred from a list of 25-30 thousand people?" If the Election Commission's intentions are real and good, this list should be distributed per booth so that political parties can locate these individuals."
"The Election Commission, in its cunning and conspiracy, has neither provided the name of the booth nor the address of the voter and most importantly, it has not provided the EPIC number of the voter so that we can do a comparative study and analysis of them."
On the other hand, Union Minister from Bihar and governing party leader Rajiv Ranjan Singh stated, "Tejashwi Yadav has been doing this kind of politics; he has nothing to do with facts." He continues to engage in political activity without providing any facts. Why should anyone else provide clarification if the Election Commission has already done so?"
